Automated Assembly Cell

The Automated Assembly Cell eliminates the need for the manual assembly of industrial pipe fittings through a precise but versatile automated solution. The automation cell is designed to produce assembled compressed air fittings for the field of industrial pneumatics. The system is composed of 12 Epson robots, 6 ARS flexibowls, 8 COGNEX vision systems, 3 Epson vision systems, 2 rotary assembly stations and 4 conveyors. Together, the machine can produce parts of 6 core sizes, with multiple part designs, culminating in 96 different part variants while showcasing a plethora of inspection technologies and assembly processes.
