Glue Station Control System

TAG Solutions engineered a custom control system for Nexyan Technologies in Lakeland, Florida to support their end customer with a Glue Station assembly cell . This system utilized the Horner XL Prime controller and Control Techniques Commander variable frequency drive (VFD). The dimensions of the panel had already been dictated by the machine design, so in addition to just meeting the functional requirements for controlling this system, TAG Solutions had to ensure that it would all fit into the specified enclosure. The PLC and HMI programs for this system were developed per the design document we had drafted with a similar look and feel to the other equipment in the line to simplify customer maintainability.
